the big river
« on: October 15, 2010, 04:30:22 pm »
on the hunt for cod for the 4th week running, ussual baits which the crabs seem to have a taste for.an hour into the rissing tide and me rod goes over and looked like a classic cod bite .wound in as fast as ferc and bang fish on ,shake shake shake shake baby and it went slack, nowt till about 10 foot of line left in the water then the fight began again, this chap came over after the titanical battle.

a cracking flounder at 42 cms,one of the best fighters in its class ,it put up a better show than alex reed(aka jordens bit)had some more cracking bites for the next hour then the water went flat as a proverbial witches t  .
soon after the bites stopped annal and after another half hour ran outa bait and call it quits, off home for a nice cuppa.
of all the things iv lost,
only my mind needs to be found.
