Decided to join our john fishing the walkway,down to rutherfords couple of packets of rag and some squid and off i went,wasnt feeling to confident without crab,but gave it a go,first couple of hours of the flood we were plagued by billets and crabs,john managed a codling in daylight probs just sized but safely returned....As darkness fell the coddies started to feed,first hour into darkness i must have had a fish a chuck with most of them 34cm......... put back to grow a bit bigger........eventually managed a sized one



As usual our young un kicked me arse by getting the better fish of the night


Jammy sod,,canny few hours fishing,nice to see a few fish coming in

might be down that way over the weekend,,hope theres still a few knocking about,,well done for catching a few chris,,the club comp was won from there last night,,Davy
should have been here yesterday,,hahaha.

I shat in it mate,he just whipped it on the hook with thread and caught a fish.........39 years of rivalry does not end mate,he is the better angler by far,but i still kick his arse from time to time :GRINCH:
Its all good craic and itys good to see him out of the house and getting a decent session in :up22:

He never had one phone call and the dogs lived to tell the tale
and he was good craic,ne talk about work,just a few hours fishing with no worries :up22:
