:AWW:they just dont seem to think about it ,maybe the port authorities should be looking to ban the jetskis in the harbour and only allowing them into the open sea. :r:
i can understand there excitement but this does not take away there responsibilities from them.they should be made to pass some sort of test, just for example a youngun with a line in the water is going to get pulled in (it will happen one day)what happens then ,thats when the ban will be enforce that you shouldnt be fishing on the pier and all anglers banned.
have you managed to get the skiers name/details even so you should report it to the police (i take it you have witnesses)who will give you a incedent number and claim off your insuranc.hope it get sorted for you and well done to dave on the offer of a rod n reel ,real big of ya
of all the things iv lost,
only my mind needs to be found.

Thats very bad news jim, expensive bit of kit in the drink....nightmare mate.............Might pay to let the local tackle shops know and put a thread on all the local forums stating what happened, its not unheard of for someone to fish rods and reels out and the more people know about it the more chance you have of getting it back :up22:
