Sea state
« on: September 07, 2010, 09:20:59 pm »
Had a good run around tonight a good 2 hrs after H/W whitby west pier was unfishable, that's a reasonably safe pier. The gare this afternoon was totally unfishable and very dangerous 2 hrs before H/W, the big tides combined with big swells and S/E winds are making a lot of normally safe marks dangerous so take care Lad's been enough accidents this year.

Was Having A Trip To Sandsend This Week But As You Said Big Tides, And The Weather Put Me Off.
The Reports From The Coast Are It,s To Weeded To Fish,,,But We Put Up With Them Problems.
Might Be A Chance On Saturday If It Cools Down,,,                  ,,,BRI,,,
Thinking about this one,,

Looking at the forecast its set to drop off next few days(forecasts are useless at the best of times  :laugh20: lol) but like you say still really rough around the coast, good luck to everyone venturing out & stay safe wherever you fish.   trink22
