Dont really use them Lenney,maybe on a wish bone,tend to use a pulley rig with a single hook or pennel using worm baits but could be a cheap alternative to use for a single/two hook flapper :up22:

if you dont use them which rig would you use ?

i use them with weight on the bottom and hook on the middle

but my hook seems to twist round the weight and cause me head aches

look at the diagram what sam put up,but take away the three way swivel and have a single hook or pennel,more than adequate for most marks around here,also another rig for ther tyne is the up and over,have not got any pics,sam might..but keeps ya bait hard on the bottom

dont use them but read a tip that if you put the weight on the middle loop for some reson it dont tangle as much.
