Thanks for the advice lads, managed to find a nice bit of clean ground half way down right out in the middle of the channel today, so only lost one set of gear! roll1

Fished the 2 hours after high water and didn't have any problems with the strong current. Few little uns cuaght coalies but well under and returned safely. Just as i thought about packing up as the bad weather started coming in i spotted what would be my final action for the night!

Thought i was snagged at first and managed to pull out with what i thought was a wedge of seaweed....untill i spotted this little fella trying to cut himself  self away and swim off back into the channel!



Couldn't believe him hanging of a size 1/0 hook with a cocktail of lug and mackerel. But it decided it liked the taste of the hook too, so that probably didnt do it any favours and helped me get it in!

well, well,ya didnt expect that on the end of ya line.i take it it went in the pot and it sort of saved the blank.

yeah, lobster salad and used the scraps to make some soup

N ice one mate,ya cannot beat a bit of fresh lobster,if i had the choice of taking a nice cod home or a nice lobster,the lobster would do the biz every time
