Try the middens at north shields lenny they are not that far down.

might do will make fishing more exiting if i dig for the bait to use to catch

Lenney,good rag in the estuary at Blyth,right in the river mouth,especially on the big tides,cant give you exact locations as it is years since i have been there,but i know lads who still get worm there,just have a mooch around at low water on the bigger tides and you will find them,if you struggle pm me and i will give you some more info on other beds further afield,no big secrets you will just have to travel a bit further :up22:
