Wrong call
« on: July 23, 2010, 11:07:44 am »
You know when you get to where you're fishing and it look's all wrong.Well that was this mornings story. After hauling me gear across the basin and over the boulders to the said mark 2hrs before L/W.Only to find the good old Tees was in full flood(never thought about the rain the other day).Anyway set up and chucked into the deepwater channel, getting knocks straight away but nowt connecting, probably small whiteys or coalies.I was fishing a 4-0 with a big crab and runny bait.Same story for the next couple of hrs then the rod bent over, this is it I thought til I got hold of the rod so spent 20mins trying to land a silver birch, good job I took the nitra.Wrapped it after that,Next time I'll fish it on the flood, sorry nowt worth taking a pic off Lad's.
