Conwy trip 2nd---------5th july 2013

Thanks meic for sorting the report out . copyed from the seafisherman site.

After looking forward to the trip for ages it was sad Gordy couldn't join us with back failure :cry:  .
Bad luck mate but there will be others..
 
So after a 4hr trip for both of us I met up with Eddie and his boy Jackson at the booked tent site
A quick chat and tent ****,after a call to Gordy   we got sorted and grabbed the gear for a session on Penmaenmawr beach.Fished the first beach shelter near the boat club.
Tried all baits,peeler,makky,lug and rag and we all blanked hmmm :scratch:

Next morning we met up with Phil to fish Llanddulas at low water for bass and smuts and after being shown the best spot and paying for the tackle we said our farewells and got on with it

Set up on the ebb and after me and Eddie missing out ratchet runs young Jackson had a pulldown slackliner which resulted in a 40cm bass,his first ever and the smile said it all,nothing after that so after a kebab we got set up on Pensarn beach for the flood

20 or so anglers spread along so looked promising

cracking report lads,sounds like a good trip......well done Jackson mate some nice fish there

Aye it was a cracking trip next time mate get ya holidays put in
at work.

Fishing wasn't the best but the craic was class it made up for the
poor fishing.

Fair dues he kicked our butts good and proper

See you in December all being well for another bash up the N/East

Aye fingers crossed you can get over in December Meic.

It was a good few days away and the craic was class.
