fished with my 5yr old son cameron today
took him to roker pier for the first time
he can now cast, strike and reel in himself
he was the first to catch ,his first ever fish a codling we were both over the moon
he would not touch it then next cast he pulled in another tommy codling which he kept hold of
but wanted to take home as a pet and put in our pond
poor lad broke into tears when i put it back
final scores were cameron 5 ...4 cod and 1 coalie and me 2 small codling
a great days fishing and a day the both of us will never forget

Aye my lad always whaps my arse cos its normally me telling him when he has a bite as he normally has his face in his i pod when hes fishing,and end up me missing bites cos Im too worried he will mis his.
