With talk of lots of cod being caught throughout the week, and favourable conditions for the weekend, hopes were high of a few decent bags of fish being brought to the scales by the 30 anglers who fished Sunday's match. Unfortunately no one told the fish the script, and only 7 cod were brought to the scales with most of them being caught from the Tunstall area. Well done to Ronny Chapman who brought a 3.12kg cod to the scales, the biggest of the season so far. The whiting have started to show in better numbers with 35 being caught in total and a further 18 flatties made up the total match bags on the day.
