plenty fish 1/2 mile off

been on to one of my mates who still fishers out of sunderland north dock told me last week the cod were going crazy one boat fishing trammels [gill nets] had 23 skips of fish cleaned his nets shot them back in  left them for a full tide lifted them at slack water and had another 14 skips [ 9 stone in each skip]when gutted fish still full of sprats just go's to show the fish are still there going on the boat on sunday will try the day lights if the water is clear big tides i no but still a chance

Chatting with a mate today who's a retired commercial was saying boats out of Sunderland have been getting good nets of fish, shame the lads that have gone out with rod and line have had nowt
