Rathouse 08/12/10
« on: December 08, 2010, 04:36:46 pm »
Popped down to the Rathouse today...what a waste of time that was.Only saw one tiny tommy codling and a flattie caught from 11.30 till 4.00.Only bite I got was from a seagull flying into my line which got me all excited and made me spill a cup of coffee.Still nothing ventured nothing gained.Bait used ragworm and frozen mackeral(which has been doing the business for me lately for decent sized whities).

Seems  a bit quite everywhere at the moment, even the whitby uptide festival has had poor result's.But even if the cod are quiet you'd expect to be picking other fish up,still you got there and tried Fen better luck next time.
