Working in a street today and there must have been a dozen middle aged women beckon other women from across the road by calling OOOOH HOOO.....in a high pitched tone,what does this mean.....is it some sort of a code...........if i beckoned women by using this coded communication would they respond...i doubt it..........Men seem to stick to........ALLREET JIMMY LAD or  AYE AYE BILLY HOWS THA DEEING.........just dont understand this OOOOOH HOOO  THING :SCARED@:

its instead of shouting that they have some gossip about one of the other neighbours and they dont want all the street to know.
