Razorfish
« on: July 16, 2010, 07:41:27 pm »
Razor fish may be found over sandy beaches and collected through the use of salt sprinkled over their holes, the biggest spring tides of the year are best in most areas where the razor fish live in numbers, razor fish is one of the best shell fish to use in sea angling either on its own or as a tip of bait, cod, bass, flounder all love it,razor fish can be referred to at times as razor clam, sockey clam, white clam, bought cheaply from chinese supermarkets or from tackle shops it really is the bait you want to have in your bait box. The best times to use razor fish is when the sea is colored and rough as razorfish are disperced and fish eat them along with other shellfish when the seas are rough. A whole razorfish on a 6/0 pulley can equal a big fish leaving baits out for a good half hour will give you that chance of a big fish picking up your bait.
