man that would be canny on ya spinning rod.probly lost dont normaly come this side of the atlantic.could ya see all the maccy bashers chasing that off roker. wtf wtf
of all the things iv lost,

only 1 a year or so from the dates , dont think i will be off to Scarborough for the tunny season just yet 
if in danger or in doubt run around and scream and shout

Nah mate,think i will be waiting for global warming to kick in before i dust off the Tuna gear....interesting stuff though

Ironically when Tuny fishing was at it's peak of the north east coast was during a particularly cold period of history, alas the lack of herring seen the tuna off be a canny surprise on the piers for the maky bashers if they were still about lol

Read a post a while back on Whitby sea anglers about this apparently the reason Scarborough became a top resort in victorian times was not because of it's beaches etc (cos the victorian upper classes did'nt go in the sea or sun bathe)but because it was the top game fishing port.Catching record Tuna or Tunney was top sport for you're mill owners etc.
I'm not a complete idiot there's bits missing
