22.8.10
« on: August 22, 2010, 08:42:13 pm »
started this morning  on a calm sea and good weather, fishing not so good today the whole of the place seemed to be full of makerel just about every boat had some on,,not so many codling caught the match been won with a 3lb fish,a few whiting starting to show further out and one of the lads [jer] had some nice pollack,,wind picked up a bit when we were out so everyone was at anchor as the drift was too fast [probably the reason for the lack of fish],all in all a good day, this time of year we have to get out as often as we can as the weather isn"t going to get any better now,,cheers lads Davy.. trink22
should have been here yesterday,,hahaha.

We got hardly owt anchored, well except snagging that rope of someones lobster pots with the anchor.
The Pollack and Codlin we had were all on the drift, but you're right the drift was far too swift, should have seen the sea this evening dave picture perfect like glass! no wind at all.
