Barney simpson uses them for field casting and fishing , and at 70 years old he is still casting over 200 yards , so they must be ok
Have you seen Barney lately Tony,never seen him casting for a good few month

He is still chucking not as much as he used to

 Yes Have Fished Boulby,Scrabster,Seahouses,.. Was Brought Up That Area Really Easy Mark In 1959, I Was Only 9 years old then,, And Had A Boat Of My Own,,... Was Really Sorry To Leave The Area But , But Parents Went Were The Work Was, Ended Up On Holderness,,And The Fishing Was Better,,,,, No Tackle Losses,,Bigger Fish,,/////// But The North Still Holds Memories.. And The People,,Anglers,, Boaters,,         ,,,,,,Friends,,,,,,                  ,,,,,,,,BRI,,,,,,,

Sounds like you have enjoyed ya fishing over the years Bri,we will have to have another session up north,take ne notice of Trev and his bigger cliffs,i went casting today with him and all i got was my rods bigger than yours all day,its a smoggie thing,they have a weak footie team so they try and promote every thing else to make up for it,next he will be saying his shed is better than yours :up22:
