Blackpool
« on: March 16, 2013, 06:44:17 pm »
The Mrs had things to do today so not needing a better excuse I grabbed the rods, raided the bait freezer and headed to Blackpool. Rained all the way there but the weather forecast promished sunshine in the afternoon.

Got to my fave spot to find I was on me own, not another rod in sight  roll1

Set up both rods with 2 hook flappers, one using size 4 and makky bait and the other with 1/0 using frozen black and squid tip.

The sea was as flat as witches but I was hopefull of summat, no weed and no breeze.

Had 2 dabs upto high then nothing for 90  mins when the flounder came on. Ended the session with 3 dabs and 2 flounder, not a great result but a nice day to be beside the seaside  :up22:
