shields pier friday and saturday night

Fish friday from 6pm till 1am started off a bit slow then the tide started to flood so hit the southeast corner managed to pull out 5lb 2lb1/2 and 1lb1/2 my mate stevie manged a nice 3lb cod and a couple more sized one's

saturday fished 5pm ti;; 11pm ish started off at the end but nowt was coming in so l decided to go down just before the blocks get in there it was a good move first cast landed a cod for 4lb 1/4 give it another hour plenty off bite but nothing became of them it started to flood so l moved back up to the end my m8 stevie said your back so casted out and with in minutes one hell of a knock stevie said you cant be in to a fish already oh yes 5lb1/2 get it just before we left stevie managed to pull out a nice fish just under 5lb could of stuck it out but l was tired so we  headed home with a big grinn bait was frozen blacks fresh lug and rag
