Got a virus on laptop,after google searching a site and i click on the link it auto redirects to random sites......also it stops avast from updating...any ideas lads

Dont Do The Wire Brush No More,, Bit Dodgy,, Angle Grinder, Does It In A Flash, And It Caughterises ?? It,,, No Blood But It Does Hurt,,A Bit,,,,, BUT HEY, WE DOWN HERE ARE HARD.

No mate never downloaded out,does seem like adware,but its stopping avast uploading ,maybe more sinister
