Seaham boxing day open results.

40 fished .
10 weighed in
16 fish
total weight 12.24 lb
heaviest fish.
1st dean ambler with a cod for 2.64 lb
2nd george callahan with a flounder for 1.16 lb
3rd paul westmorland with a flounder for 1.01 lb
h.a.c.
dean ambler with 1 fish for 2.64 lb
pairs
1st john barrass & dean ambler with 1 fish for 2.64 lb
2nd paul bunce & colin ramshaw with 3 fish for 2.09 lb
sealed weight was 238 and was won by dean ambler with 264.
the winner came from the top end of seaham pier .
the next comp is the coronation cup which is a club comp on the 9th january 1 till 6 .

Better than the last one but still a bit dissapointing fish wise

the lads done well to find a codling,just shows how hard it is,,cheers for the results eddie..
should have been here yesterday,,hahaha.

Better results than the last comp but still not a lot of cod showing or fish being caught.Hopefully things will pick up very soon. Well done to all that entered.
Anyone can fish......It's Catching them that's the hard part.
