Me and Keith gonna give Hendon Fishquay tomorrow and see how it goes.Never fished it before so don't know what to expect.Gonna fish next to the dock gates. Your views and tips would be appreciated gents.
Anyone can fish......It's Catching them that's the hard part.

2011 SPECIES CAUGHT:  Coalie x3(biggest 33.5cm), Rockling x6, Blenny x1, Flounder x1, Whiting x1

If there is lads fishing the other side keep a close eye on ya rods or dont cast to the other side lol there was a lad fishing the glass centre and a lad on the side you's are going to fish pulled his rod over the railings though the water and pulled it in.

so there is no need to try and hit the other side lol thats how the lad had his rod pulled in cast to far.

twenty thirty yards max,also try a couple of lobs down river where the big boats moor,take plenty baits and hooks for the young uns :xmas1:

Ive got my carp match rod in the car, it just takes a 4oz lead and can only lob it about 40 yards so that might be the rod for the day.

watch out for the boat moorings when fishing the fish quay as some of them are not marked by buoys and you could lose a bit of gear.Good luck anyway look forward to your report on your trip.

Thanks for that Fen....I think i will use rotten bottoms so i only lose the weight if i snag a mooring.

good luck keep well to the right hand side  away from the boats or moorings as far as ya can  in the  corner  past the gates
