Clothing for the coming winter

If i was going to buy one,i would try it on first,as they come in different sizes,you need to make sure you have room for extra clothing and be able to stretch your arms out comfortably,its a lot of money to pay on the net and then realise its too tight,get yourself to a tackle shop and try one on :up22:

inclined to agree with chris , if bought from the shop at least you can take it striaght back for a larger /smaller size and not have to put up with postage and returning it

Well I took the plunge (pun not intended) and bought a floatation suit and from the advice I got (and the description of the pockets and how yummy warm they are) I decided to get the Sundrige En-Tec 2 pc. Checked all the measurements, chest, waist etc and it would appear to about correct with alittle extra room for my ribbed muscles (I wish).

Should receive it tomorrow and hopefully I won't have to send it back (winces).

Tried the suit out tonight at the Pilot pier Hartlepool. I'm very impressed, nice fit too and very warm. It was the Sundrige En Tech I think it's called 2 pc. Certainly will be a plus for the coming weeks and months.

I've had a SAS Mk5 for a few years now and I'd replace it with another Sundridge suit in a heartbeat, Fladden suits are one of the best 'flotation' suits but not as comfortable and don't have the handwarmer pockets  :HPY2:

Be forwarned wipe your hands on a rag not in your handwarmer pockets lol, the smell can empty a pier after a month.

I wear my british army 2 piece thermal suit with hi viz waterproof over the top of them...A norwegian army thermal roll neck under shirt is also good for keeping ya warm.

 Every Chance I Get Will Tell You My Views On The Subject.   The Need To Keep Warm And Dry Is Important, It Will Save Your Life,,...
But At My Age All That Clothing Restricts My Casting,, I  Have Waterproofs From The Waist Down,,Above That A Thermal Vest,, Then A Thermal Smock,, Thats All,. I Only Put The Waterproofs On When Its Really Bad,.  Its Strange In The Middle Of Winter Anglers

But Thats My View .. I Carnt Speak For Every Angler Becouse We Are All Different..But You Need To Be Comfortable,,Warm,,Warerproof,, ....
How Many Of Us Go Out In Summer, In T.shirt,, Shorts, And Have That Cast, They Want ,A Real Rod Bender,, But In The Winter Its Not There,
In The Winter Months I Try To Fish As The Summer,,Have Allways Done It That Way,,
