what would you prefer

two part discussion

first one on - during a dying sea
second  one-  flat calm conditions.

bait hearing a lot about fish taking mainly black lug.

if you had two bait choices for a fishing session and you had to choose between fresh blowlug or frozen blacks

 which one would you choose and why.

sorry john ,me being thick like but dont get the first part of the question :STUPIDD: ,but the 2nd has got to be fresh .always has been since i came back to fishing and was years ago when i was a lad.frozen has been the choice of frozen worms but iv never had any luck with them. :THRD:

Difficult to choose as both baits have there day,think if its flat its all about getting a bait out with plenty scent......i could not really choose one over the other as both have been good baits for me in both the conditions you mentioned...............cant beet a good pack of frozen blacks though :up22:...............or a 100 boulmer bullets :s

Difficult one as you can fish the same mark and sometimes fresh works sometimes frozen.I tend to go with fresh blow lug but also carry frozen bait,anyway I hope frozen blacks are the answer just bought 100 and froze them down.

Its a a had decision at the moment , fresh blacks are fishing better than out else  in the area i fish, i love me bulmer worm allso , if i was preparing the blacks my self for the freezer , and then i know they have been prepared correctly i would use them over blow lug at  the moment, the blow lug are all milky at this time of year and dont seem to be fishing well , if the blacks were bougt frozen from a shop i wouldnt have as much faith in them you dont know how they have been prepared for the freezer

Hard one John like already mentioned i try and take both fresh and frozen lug/blacks,for some reason when its flat certain marks the fish seem interested in nowt but fresh peeler.

Just to follow on the boulmer bullets always fish well off Roker after the seas been away some of the regulars use nothing but with great results.

Think If I was local it would be fresh blow as it's a more common bait to the area.

ad still think the fresh would fish better in both instances but im not a great believer in frozen baits.
