Peeler Crabs-How to keep them

How do you lads keep ya crab alive. ??

I keep mine in the fridge in a inch of sea water or
put them in a tub and soak newspaper in sea water
and put the paper over them then spray them every
couple of day and change the newspaper every few
day as well seem to work for me.

I keep mine basically the same way mate,damp cloth or newspaper over them,give them a drink everyday,leave them out for a while as they get a drink then cover making sure cloth is damp enough and back in fridge and do the same every day,though in winter when its freezing and i get the Devons i keep them in about an inch of seawater in fridge so they are taking water in all the time to bring them onto peel a bit quicker.

If you don't live near the coast though and can't get fresh seawater,a spray bottle with freshwater mixed with a bit sea salt also works to keep them alive just keep spraying them when out of fridge and then cover back up.
