Heard from afew people over the past weeks that oiling bait can sometimes be of benefit to the sea angler.
Am I the cheapside of someones joke or do people actually use WD40 to oil bait to attract fish?

No mate,people did used to use it,dont know if people still do,never tried it myself so could not say if it would improve your catch rate
