Got there just as H/W was hitting. Only one other guy there setting up.

After 45 minutes I was reeling in my second fish, the first was a coalie (I wasn't aware what it was till the guy shouted over 'it's a coalie there mate') and the second was a half decent whiting but undersized. Again with the help of the guy I found out without looking stupid as to what it was. I also found out that whiting have shape teeth and it's best not to pop ya pinkie in its mouth.

There were about five whiting caught four of decent keeping sizes and afew tiddlers (don't ask what they were I haven't a clue).

Stayed till 7pm (2 1/2 hours) so not too bad for me catching two fish even if they both went back. Thoroughly enjoyed the fresh air and gaining the experience.
