im seeing your side of it now jer,as read the guys dog had the hook in its gut ,if it had been in the mouth or throat then it would have been taken out by the vet and not cost that much.
still doesn't take away the blame for discarding hooks /bags /general shuot.how many wildlife animals likes of the swans /seagulls,etc  suffer from line left by irresponsible" anglers"(im being polite)
