Same as it used to be John,try the easy marks first ,if you're catching why move on.When I was going off Redcar in a boat the first shot was within a mile then work you're way towards boulby if nowhere was fishing about 5 mile was the furthest we fished,remember going out to 13 one time but that was straight out from Redcar on a coble 30 footer and we'd been told the fish were around 12 mile out,bagged up that day full to the gunnels in about 5 hrs,a rare good payday
