Chears Davey I appreciate the offer, I'm heading over to east coast fibreglass supplies tomorrow to grip 5litres of resin + woven roven and some chopped glass matting, I also need to do some much needed work on the keel, so the gunnels and cuddy are coming off tomorrow hopfully and the hull is going to be flipped over and even more angle grinder action will ensue lol (hence needing quite a bit resin).

One thing I'm on the hunt for is some sort of flat plastic strip like gas board grade plastic to use along the base of the keel as re-enforcing/protection, I'm struggling for something suitable that won't simply rust and give me more bother later.
