I fished inshore boats from the mid 70's thro till the 90's on an off,when it was'nt worth while I packed it in.Now I can understand if people want to have a go at me ,but at the time fishing was my stanby living when no other work was about.But what I'm saying is we should not go back to the stage of unregulated fishing which it was then,nobody ever checked our nets/catches etc.The only thing they checked for was salmon/sea trout an lobster sizes anthing else wasfair game,and we used to run anthing up to 2km of nets depending on the time of year.
Got to earn a living mate and at the time there were plenty fish,its the bigger boats that have done the damage..............thought i recognised your chiseled features off that film The Perfect Storm hide
