the way i read his query this is what lennys on about .it dosnt improve ya cast at all but does sort of ground bait your area around the hook.worm should stay on the hook if its put through the mouth and fed round the hook leaving only a short tail.other baits (crab/maccy)can be tied on with elastic thread from the tackle shop.
