Like you say Bri it makes no difference to the fish,but it makes a difference to you eg if the rod feels right then you're happier using it.As for second hand rod's I've got the nitra,TT sport,zippy lt.Abu sauveron all bought second hand mate( cos I'm a tight barsteward and won't pay ?250-?300 for a rod :laugh20:) come to think of it the last new beachrod I bought was a penn powerstick surf and it's shite.The end of the day if the rod feels right it's the rod for you and everyone's different  :up22:
