ZZippy and conoflex spring to mind, what about the other manufacturers, greys, conoflex,AFAW,Sonic, see some of these rods in the tackle shops, but not really a lot of them fishing or casting on the field, anyone use them or reccommend them,i had a Conoflex Nemesis which was a damn good rod for casting and fishing but been using the centurys for a long time,i would be interested on opinions on this topic :up22:

were should one start - fishing rod do you want it for beach/ pier/
cliff top/ prom lifting fish over boulders at an angle/ rock edge fishing/fishing into heavy kelp were do you start for best rod.
one rod wont do all above imho

casting most i think prefer zziplex but again decisions do you spend on the rolls royce of rods zziplex or what about a tournament extreme which niel kelland cast over 300 yds with years ago with ,37dia line a m8 of mine was there. the extreme would be classed as heavy and ungainly and i think you would be lucky to see one at a casting event but it has done the job proved itself.
