So if you are pleasure fishing and you catch wrasse would you take it home or keep it thats if it was size mind.
Personally i let most fish go with the exception of cod,which i eat or whities which are badly hooked,majority of fish i try and return.......Competitions though where money is involved,people will keep them if they are set to make a profit
......As fish stocks decline and clubs start outlawing species in decline,how long will it be before Cod is outlawed..........plus if clubs start knocking more species off there list of allowed fish......then it will only be a matter of time before the clubs dissappear.........Its a difficult subject eddie a very sensetive one where clubs want to be seen doing the best for future fish stocks,but at the same time not upset to many people who fish the club matches......To be honest though whats everyone worrying about once the sea fishing license comes into effect there will be loads of fish for everyone to catch wtf hide
