This question has been posted on BSA and NESA by a lad called Tony from Alnwick.

Would you still have fished our comp if wrasse had been excluded from the weigh-in?

I'd like some feedback on this please, I'm going to try again to get wrasse banned from our club and open comps, and I'd be interested in how everyone else thinks.

Cheers lads and lasses.

To tell ya the truth it would not bother me if ya could not weigh in wrasse there's is other summer species to catch.
think its tony who runs the tackle shop in alnwick, why the problem with wrasse,we all catch coalies, whities, undersize fish and try to put them back and watch threm go belly up,whats the prob with wrasse, were all dragging a fish in on hook and line, why should wrasse be excluded
