I have chris mate......NO HOOKS.....tied large triple knot in the end of snood and squashed bread ball over the knot. Rod was set up on tripod and 'CAST OUT' with gripper just caught into the lawn and shockleader tight as if in the sea.15 mins later i had a lovely bite, rod tip knocked slightly as the spuggy nibbled the bread, then proper knock as it took the bread and tried to walk off with it. 18" running trace works well and as my friendly little fella tried to fly off with the bread, the pulley action cut in and gripper was dislodged from the lawn. A SMALL SUCCESS....

SEA TRIALS NEXT
Anyone can fish......It's Catching them that's the hard part.
