just got back from work in Scotland,working beside gareloch with digs in Dunoon 70 mile away......Took my gear up to do a bit fishing,but doing 12 hour shifts and travelling 90 minutes each way was a bummer.......the journey to digs was along gareloch and loch long then down the other side......some awsome marks,the rod will be going next week lol

There seems to be a few good turbot getting caught from
shields pier there was a nice one took the other day 3lb
also a few nice plaice.

Finally got out for a few hours  down the Knap at Barry

A few pics for those who don't know the place,large pebble beach dropping onto clean sand.

Anyway,got there at low water and a few anglers were down the slabs end after a ray or 2
Windsurfers out in the bay and lollylickers everywhere 
 
Got 2 x rods quickly set up and cast into the surf 30yds out walking the tide back to terra firma,1 x rattle and a saucer sized turbot fell to a half sandeel on a loop rig
 
As the water hit the pebbles I had 4 x whitings after each other  ,crazy!!!
 
3 hrs up and another good rattle resulted in a double hook up of doggy and another small turbot
 
After diving in to cool down I sent to more rods out with another 3 doggys coming up to high water
 
With the heat and easterly breeze doing me no good I fished another hour for nowt so dived back in and packed up
 
On the way back I passed the toilet and pondered how these girls get them wetsuits off so sat on the grass and watched
 
Wondered then how they cover everything with them thong bikinis,  so after a wash under the tap off I went home with another burnt chops sunny
